FILM

  • Andre Fabrizio was born in Milan, Italy, and immigrated to Australia with his family when he was 3 years old. He was raised in Adelaide, completing his law degree at the University of Adelaide, before moving to Los Angeles where he obtained an MFA degree from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. Andre began his film career on the production side, co-producing the Sundance Film Festival hit SPECIAL, starring Michael Rapaport, before moving into television as an associate producer on the Discovery Channel show, I SHOULDN’T BE ALIVE. Soon afterward, Andre pivoted into screenwriting, working as a writer’s assistant on the popular WB television show, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. From there he would go on to write several studio features and TV shows, including the feature films THE PRINCE and VICE, both starring Bruce Willis, and SAN ANDREAS, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. His most recent projects include writing a live-action feature adaptation of the popular Japanese comic book ASTRO BOY for New Line Cinema and Australia’s Animal Logic, along with a feature adaptation of the vampire comic book series REDNECK for Universal Pictures, and  he currently has several other film and TV projects in active development and production.

  • John Payne is Managing Director of Ridley Scott Associate Films. Prior to establishing RSA in Hong Kong and Shanghai, John has worked with directors such as Chris Cunningham, Shynola, and Jonas Akerlund, running Black Dog Films, RSA’s music video division.

LITERATURE

  • Amara Hoshijo is a senior editor at Saga Press, where she specializes in science fiction, fantasy, and horror with a unique cultural lens. Her authors include New York Times bestseller Chloe Gong, USA TODAY bestseller Kemi Ashing-Giwa, Sascha Stronach, Rin Chupeco, and Chana Porter. Originally from Honolulu and a graduate of the University of Southern California, Amara lived in New York City for over a decade, then returned to Los Angeles last year. Prior to joining Saga Press, she was an editor at Soho Press, where she published Chana Porter’s The Seep, Clarissa Goenawan’s Rainbirds, and Chris McKinney’s Midnight, Water City. She also managed the company’s subrights initiative and is a former Frankfurt Fellow.

  • Jane Chun is a literary agent at Transatlantic Agency. She joined Transatlantic in 2023 after four years at Janklow & Nesbit Associates. Prior to her time at J&N, she worked on a freelance project for HG Literary and interned at Writers House and Maximum Films & Management.

    Before entering the publishing world, Jane attended NYU where she majored in History and minored in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology; Creative Writing; and Spanish. She returned to NYU shortly after graduation and a brief stint at Asian CineVision and the Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF) to receive her M.S. in Publishing with distinction. She is a native New Yorker.

ART

  • Firdy Arman, a seasoned arts practitioner and management consultant, brings over 20 years of international experience in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Holding a BA in Arts Management and a Master’s degree in Management, Firdy combines deep arts understanding with a solid foundation in strategic business administration. With a decade at Ernst & Young LLP in London and New York, offering strategic advice to Fortune 500 companies, Firdy showcases versatility in both corporate and artistic spheres. Former roles include Assistant Manager at The Arts Fission Company (Singapore), contributing to arts management. From 2008-2009, Firdy served as Marketing and Partnership Development Manager at the National Arts Council (Singapore), significantly impacting the cultural landscape through events like the Singapore Arts Festival. International experience includes a role as a Cultural Exchange Officer at the Asia-Europe Foundation from 2009 to 2010. In 2023, Firdy ventured into entrepreneurship, founding ROUNDCOLLAB Contemporary Asian Art gallery. As an arts business consultant, Firdy specializes in strategic advice, coaching, and optimizing business models for various entities, including artists, creative entrepreneurs, and NGOs. His expertise extends to marketing strategy and establishing partnerships, with a background in notable arts programs and cultural organizations globally.

  • Stanley Wong, also known as anothermountainman, is a renowned Hong Kong contemporary artist and designer with over 600 advertising awards, including two One Show Gold awards from the US, D&AD Yellow Pencil from the UK, and a Tokyo TDC award.

    In 2020, Wong was named DFA’s World Outstanding Chinese Designer. Wong’s Red White Blue exhibition, promoting the positive spirit of Hong Kong, earned him international recognition since appearing at the 51st Venice Art Biennale in 2005.

    Wong held senior positions as Creative Director and Chief Executive Officer for a number of renowned international advertising agencies, and in 2007, established his own strategy and brand communications agency, 84000 Communications.

    His passion for photography leads him to use various forms of creative media to express his unique ideas and views on social issues. Collected by the likes of Hong Kong’s M+ and London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, his work has also been exhibited at Tokyo’s Ginza Graphic Gallery (ggg) in 2015 and the Hong Kong Heritage Museum in 2019.

MUSIC

  • Nicholas Cheung is a multifaceted Hong Kong-Canadian A&R executive, artist manager, concert promoter, and producer. He currently holds the position of Regional Director of Hip-hop & R&B at Warner Music Asia, where he has successfully signed and developed numerous artists throughout the Asia region. Beyond his role at Warner, Nicholas is also the co-founder and co-director of Gluestick Entertainment, a concert promotion company known for its innovative approach to music. Gluestick Entertainment has brought acclaimed artists from around the world to Hong Kong and recently to Singapore, featuring talents such as AOMG, JID, ASAP Ferg, Denzel Curry, Phum Viphurit, Sunset Rollercoaster, Moonchild, ØZI, Mac Ayres, Kero Kero Bonito, and many others. Previously, Nicholas served as a lead music editor at HYPEBEAST, where he curated editorial and social media content for the global audience.

  • William Perry Moore is a producer, music mentor, and the lead singer of the 10-time international touring Jet City Rock act -- The Adarna. The band saw success appearing at large rock festivals like Rocklahoma, Music Fights Back, Bratfest, and anime & comic cons stateside.  Internationally, Moore would tour with Hinder, Saving Abel as well as perform for the US Troops stationed in the Middle East.   WPM also seized an opportunity to join the Portland­-based “Chinatown Dance Rock” band, The Slants, as their lead guitarist in 2012. The Slants gained notoriety in the press due to their battle with the Trademark Office over the usage of "Slants."
